Kevin lives in Kings Lynn Norfolk, where he started in the trade, many moons ago, with JT Stanton & Co. As a trainee manager Kevin worked through each and every department within the business gaining huge experience in the 2 year position. From here Kevin went on to work at various well known timber businesses namely,
JT Stanton & Co in Kings Lynn.
Where Kevin attended the Mid-Warwickshire College Of Further Education, in Leamington Spa, and gained Associate member status with the Institute of Wood Science (AIWSc), at the time.

as sawn joinery manager and also as home grown sheet materials manager.

Price & Pierce in Woking. Specialising in the timber agency sales and majoring in the sales of Russian timbers throughout the UK.

Montague L Meyer in Barking. Working in bulk sales including Russian timber sales.

Then moved to the group of businesses in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, for a period of 8 years, that consisted of....

Majoring in dealing with and importing from Russian Sawmills (times were very different then) from the likes of Kem and Onega directly into Sutton Bridge Port. As well as running the sales team, the sawmill and treatment plants.

Before going his own way and establishing 4 businesses himself,
Hutch n Such Ltd (sold 50% share to a business partner)
Cabins Unlimited Ltd (sold 50% share to a partner)
Rystix Timber Coatings (sold 50% share to a partner)
Bespoke Pine n Oak Ltd, a business set up by Kevin which manufactured in house, bespoke solid Pine and Solid Oak kitchens and furniture within a 6000sqft furniture superstore in Kings Lynn (Kevin decided to voluntarily close this business via an MVL in October 2023 after 12 years of successful trading, to allow more family and leisure time)

Kevin now concentrates his time fully on UK Timber & Plywood Ltd, which has actually been in operation since 2011. This business has been a great success and is still operating and still expanding today.
